The ingredients needed to make Easy Crockpot chicken Parmesan pasta:
  1. Get 3 chicken breasts flattened
  2. Take 48 oz pasta sauce (homemade or store brand)
  3. Prepare 1/2-1 yellow onion
  4. Prepare 1/2-1 green bell pepper
  5. Prepare As needed mozzarella cheese
  6. Get As needed Parmesan cheese
  7. Prepare As needed Italian style bread crumbs
  8. Take As needed season:oregano/Italian seasons,parsley, basil, s&p
  9. Get As needed minced garlic
  10. Make ready 1 box pasta noodles penne or whatever

Spread pasta sauce evenly over chicken. Place the chicken salt pepper, tomatoes, onion, and italian seasoning in the crock pot. Shred the chicken and stir back in the crock pot In a shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, pepper and salt. In another bowl, combine egg and water.

Steps to make Easy Crockpot chicken Parmesan pasta:
  1. Wrap trimmed and cleaned chicken breast in Saran Wrap, and beat to just semi flatten so not so thick. Don't flatten completely, just thin down the thickness a little bit.
  2. Season and Add breasts to crockpot. I seasoned with a meat tenderizer, that had salt/pepper/garlic and onion powder.
  3. Pour pasta sauce over chicken breasts.
  4. Add oregano/Italian seasonings that have an assortment of Italian seasonings mixed. Set crockpot to high for 4 hours.
  5. After about an hour or so I added the onions, bell pepper, garlic.
  6. When it is about 25 min or so from being done. Start pasta water, and boil pasta noodles until al denta. Drain.
  7. Now your chicken should be done, shred with fork, and stir around. Add the noodles,coat and mix all in sauce, add in just a little bit cheese, stir and mix around. Then smooth/ flatten everything.
  8. Now. On top-Sprinkle and add however much mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, parsley, bread crumbs, a little more oregano seasoning on top of cheese. Put top back on and let cheese melt. Once done, turn to warm setting.
  9. Tip: you can also coat chicken in beginning with a breadcrumb/grated cheese mixture before adding to crockpot, but remember it may turn out soggy. Also, you can leave whole and not shred. Your choice.

Shred the chicken and stir back in the crock pot In a shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, pepper and salt. In another bowl, combine egg and water. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then in crumb mixture to coat both sides, patting to help coating adhere. Arrange chicken breasts in slow cooker. Add mozzarella cheese slices and let melt over the breasts.
