The ingredients needed to make Deep Fried PB&J Sandwich:
  1. Take 2 piece bread (raisin bread is best)
  2. Get 1 peanut butter
  3. Prepare 1 jelly or jam
  4. Prepare 1 corn flakes
  5. Prepare 1 egg
  6. Prepare 1 vanilla extract
  7. Make ready 1 milk or cream
  8. Make ready 1 vegetable oil (enough to immerse the sandwich)
  9. Take 1 iced cream (optional)
  10. Get 1 maple syrup (optional)

Steps to make Deep Fried PB&J Sandwich:
  1. Put vegetable oil in a deep pan on medium-high heat or heat deep fryer to 375°F.
  2. Using bread, peanut butter, and jelly, make a PB&J sandwich. Careful not to let it leak out the sides.
  3. Mix the egg, a small amount of milk or cream and a few drops of vanilla extract, and beat them together and place in shallow bowl.
  4. Crumble the cornflakes to crumbs and place in shallow bowl.
  5. Dip the sandwich into the egg-wash and allow it to absorb into both sides.
