The ingredients needed to make Stuffed Hot Dogs:
  1. Get Package Hot Dogs
  2. Make ready Package Bacon
  3. Get Package Hot Dog Buns
  4. Prepare 1 onion finely diced
  5. Prepare BBQ sauce
  6. Take 1 Brick of Cheese
  7. Get Heavy duty tin foil

Heat a large skillet on high heat and cook the hot dogs, turning frequently so that all sides become. Make a slit in all of the hot dogs and insert sliced cheese into the slits. Place hot dogs on top of a wire rack that's on top of a cookie sheet. Slit the hot dogs down the middle lengthwise without cutting all the way through.

Steps to make Stuffed Hot Dogs:
  1. Preheat the oven to the broil setting on the oven.
  2. Take some heavy duty tin foil and create a boat to hold the dogs for cooking, and place it on the broiler pan
  3. Precook 2 pieces of bacon for each hot dog you want to prepare. Do not overcook the bacon, because you need it limp enough to wrap around the hot dog.
  4. Slice the hot dog down the middle. Be careful not to cut all the way through the dog, so it will hold the sauce, onion and cheese. I recommend Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs
  5. Pour BBQ sauce in the middle of the sliced hot dog. I recommend using Open Pit BBQ sauce.
  6. Take some of the finely diced onions and place on top of the BBQ sauce. You will want the onions as finely diced as possible so it doesn't stretch the dog.
  7. Slice Brick of cheese into small square wedges and place them on top of the onion and BBQ sauce.
  8. Wrap the bacon around the dog and place in the tin boat on the broiler pan.
  9. Once you have all your dogs wrapped in bacon and in the tin boat, place the broiler pan in the oven.
  10. Cook the dogs just long enough to melt the cheese wedges and finish cooking the bacon.
  11. Place the wrapped dogs in a hot dog bun with your favorite condiments.

Place hot dogs on top of a wire rack that's on top of a cookie sheet. Slit the hot dogs down the middle lengthwise without cutting all the way through. Stuff the hot dogs down the middle with the mashed potatoes and sprinkle lightly with paprika; place them in a baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and place them in the preheated oven. Mix cheese, crushed up chips, diced onion, ketchup, & Worcestershire sauce.
