  5. Get 1 package (8 oz) frozen California blend vegetables
  6. Take 1-2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Add au gratin potatoes, pepper, water, milk and margarine. Add the potatoes, sauce mix and water. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set it aside in a bowl. Toss the onion in the skillet and sauté it.

  3. Add potatoes, water and sauce mix. Cook covered on medium heat for 18-20 min stirring occasionally
  4. Sprinkle with cheese and cover, let stand for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted
