The ingredients needed to make Besan Rotis (Chickpea Pancakes):
  1. Make ready 1 cup besan flour (chickpea flour)
  2. Take 2/3 cups water
  3. Make ready 1/2 cup spinach
  4. Prepare 1/3 cup shredded carrots
  5. Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  6. Make ready 1/4 tsp cayenne chilli pepper
  7. Get 1/2 tsp salt
  8. Make ready 1/2 tsp pepper
  9. Take 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  10. Prepare 1 tsp cumin seeds

Steps to make Besan Rotis (Chickpea Pancakes):
  1. Mix flour with water
  2. Add spices and veggies and mix until batter thickens. Should be pancake consistency
  3. Pour half a cup onto pan and flip after a few mins. Flip again until cooked through

Leave to rest for an hour. Heat flat griddle or frying pan; spread a little oil on it. Pour in a little of the mix and spread it out with a wooden spatula so it thinly covers the pan. "Besan" a.k.a.
