The ingredients needed to make Fruity FlapJacks:
  1. Get 175 Gr Butter
  2. Take 175 Gr Soft Brown Sugar
  3. Prepare 1 Tablespoon Golden Syrup
  4. Take 250 Gr Porridge Oats
  5. Prepare 25 Gr Sultanas (Optional)

Made with our Carnation Condensed Milk and packed with energy - this Fruity Flapjack will be the new go-to snack for everyone in the house.

Steps to make Fruity FlapJacks:
  1. PreHeat Oven to 150c and Lightly Grease a 20c, Baking tin
  2. Melt together Butter, Sugar and Syrup. When melted and combined remove from heat and stir in the porridge oats and sultanas (if using)
  3. Pour into the Tin and smooth the surface with the back of a metal spoon.
  4. Bake for 35-40 mins or until the edges are brown and the surface in golden.
  5. Place the tin on a wire rack. Cut into squares after 10 minutes, but leave to cool completely before removing from the tin

There's nothing complicated involved, just a bit of melting and mixing. Made with our Carnation Condensed Milk and packed with energy - this Fruity Flapjack will be the new go-to snack for everyone in the house. Vary the type of dried fruit, e.g. sultanas, figs, mixed fruit. Try using a little less sugar (or replace some with sweetener) and a little more dried fruit in the flapjacks to make them healthier. My copycat fruit flapjacks were a hit all round, and even got the seal of approval from my daughter Kipper - as you can see in the photo!
