The ingredients needed to make Beef, Mash, and Gravy:
  1. Take Beef
  2. Make ready 2 pounds Sirloin beef
  3. Make ready 2-1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. Prepare 2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  5. Prepare 2 tablespoons butter
  6. Prepare 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  7. Prepare Mash
  8. Make ready 2 pound potatoes russet
  9. Get 1 teaspoon salt
  10. Make ready As needed water
  11. Make ready 2 tablespoons butter
  12. Prepare 10 ounces canned evaporated milk
  13. Take Gravy
  14. Take 1 medium bell pepper green
  15. Prepare 1/4 cup diced onion
  16. Prepare 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  17. Get 1 quart beef broth
  18. Take 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  19. Take 1 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
  20. Take 1/4 cup beef trimmings
  21. Make ready 1/2 all purpose flour
  22. Make ready 1 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  23. Get 2 tablespoons butter

Add beef, broth, soup, Worcestershire sauce and bay leaf to the pot. Pour into the beef a little at a time while stirring until it reaches desired consistency. Dredge beef stew meat in flour/salt/pepper mixture. Add oil to skillet, brown meat.

Instructions to make Beef, Mash, and Gravy:
  1. Wash the bell pepper and char it over a flame.
  2. Peel, wash, and cut the potatoes into chunks. Put into a pot of water just enough to cover it. Add salt and bring to a boil.
  3. Take the pepper off the fire and put into a ziploc bag. Trim off the tough membrane and connecting tissue.
  4. Scrape the pepper. Cut the stem part off. Then dice the peppers.
  5. Fry the the trimmings in 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season the beef with salt and pepper. When the trimmings are cooked chop into little pieces.
  6. Sear the beef in the oil and butter mixture. Turn after 7 minutes. Check your potatoes if fork tender remove from heat and drain.
  7. When both sides are seared on each side remove and place in a hot cast iron skillet. Turn to low heat turn every 7 minutes. Add pepper to the butter and oil mixture. Sauté till tender. Dice the onion. Sauté for 7 minutes.
  8. Add the flour and another tablespoon of olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Keep turning the beef.
  9. Stir the flour well cook 7 minutes then add the beef broth. Stir often it will start thickening.
  10. When all the bits/ goodies are off the bottom of pan add the red wine vinegar. Stir till thick as you like then remove from heat.
  11. Drain the potatoes add butter and evaporated milk. Then whip them till nice and creamy.
  12. The steak are to my desired doneness. Add mash to a plate make a crater and fill with gravy. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!

Dredge beef stew meat in flour/salt/pepper mixture. Add oil to skillet, brown meat. Add beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup and kitchen bouquet to skillet. Stir to combine, gravy will thicken as it heats. Stir in the wine and beef broth, deglazing the pan by scraping up any browned bits with a wooden spoon.
