Instructions to make Chicken Sopas (Filipino chicken soup):
  1. Boil chicken until cooked. When cooked, shred chicken meat and reserve chicken stock.
  2. Sauté onions and garlic until soft
  3. Add carrots and macaroni and the chicken stock. Bring to a boil.
  4. When the macaroni is 75% cooked add the shredded chicken and simmer for 5 mins.
  5. Put the cabbage and simmer for 5 more minutes
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste
