The ingredients needed to make Broiled Talapia Parmesan:
  1. Prepare 1/2 cup Parmesan
  2. Prepare 1/4 cup Butter
  3. Make ready 3 tbsp Mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
  4. Prepare 2 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
  5. Prepare 1/4 tsp Dried basil
  6. Take 2 pinch
  7. Prepare 1/4 tsp Ground black pepper
  8. Take 2 pinch Onion Powder
  9. Get 1 pinch Celery Salt
  10. Prepare 2 lb Tilapia Filets

Flip the fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes. Remove the fillets from the oven and cover them with the Parmesan cheese mixture on the top side. Pat dry Talapia filets and place in shallow glass pyrex or on a baking sheet. Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl and brush half of the mixture over top of filets.

Instructions to make Broiled Talapia Parmesan:
  1. Preheat your ovens broiler. Grease a boiling pan or line pan with alumunum foil.
  2. In small bowl mix together the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayo or (miracle whip) & lemin juice. Season with dried basil, pepper, onion powder and celery salt. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Arrange fillets in a single layer on the prepared pan. Broil a few inches from the heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes. Remove the fillets from the oven and cover them with the Parmesan cheese mixture on the top side. Broil for 2 more minutes or until the topping is browned and fish flakes easily with a fork. Be careful not to over cook the fish.

Pat dry Talapia filets and place in shallow glass pyrex or on a baking sheet. Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl and brush half of the mixture over top of filets. Turn filets over with a spatula and brush remaining mixture over filets. Mix the Parmesan cheese, butter-margarine blend, fat-free mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, basil, black pepper, onion powder, and celery salt together in a bowl. Place tilapia fillets in a shallow dish and sprinkle with garlic powder.
