The ingredients needed to make Sausage bacon and egg casserole:
  1. Make ready 3 Italian sausage links, casings removed
  2. Take 1 package bacon
  3. Make ready 10 eggs
  4. Prepare 1/2 C. Milk
  5. Get 1 1/2 C. Shredded cheddar cheese
  6. Take 2 green onions, chopped
  7. Make ready To taste Salt and pepper

In a large bowl, stir together cooked sausage and bacon with onion and cheese. Place half of his mixture on top of buttered bread. Then add another six slices of bread (no butter). In large skillet over medium heat, cook sausage until browned, crumbling it with a spatula as it cooks.

Instructions to make Sausage bacon and egg casserole:
  1. Preheat oven to 375° F
  2. Remove sausage casings and cook in a skillet on medium-high heat. Cook and crumble until cooked through. Remove and pour into greased baking dish.
  3. Cook bacon in batches in same skillet until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to remove excess grease. Chop and add 3/4 of the bacon to sausage.
  4. In a medium bowl whisk eggs, milk, 1 cup of cheddar cheese and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Pour egg mixture over sausage and bacon and stir. Add remaining 1/2 cup cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and top with remaining bacon and cook another 10 minutes. Broil last 2 minutes if you like your cheese a little crispy.
  7. Top with green onions.
