Sweetener of choice is jaggery but sugar can also be used or a combination of both. You can prepare this guilt free (no sugar) payasam for any festivals or special occasions.

The ingredients needed to make Wheat rava kheer:
  1. Get 1 cup wheat rava red one
  2. Make ready 2 cups milk
  3. Get 1 cup water
  4. Get 1 tsp elago pwd
  5. Get Jaggery 1/2 cup melted
  6. Take Cashews
  7. Make ready Almonds
  8. Get Kismis
  9. Get Ll few
  10. Get Ghee 2 tsp big

This godhuma rava payasam is so delicious, easy to make and quite healthy too. The cracked wheat gives a beautiful and grainy texture to the payasam. And we are adding coconut milk also which makes the dish more delectable. Godhuma Rava Payasam is a Dalia/Broken Wheat Payasam that is a Tamilian speciality prepared during festivals and celebrations.

Instructions to make Wheat rava kheer:
  1. First take a pan add 1 tsp ghee
  2. Add wheat red rava and roast it for few minutes
  3. Keep it a side
  4. Then add 1 tsp ghee again and add all dry fruits and fry them
  5. Keep them a side
  6. Take a vok pour milk and boil
  7. Once it's boiling add wheat red rava and stir mixing it well
  8. Close with lid for 5 minutes
  9. Later open it and switch off the flame and add jaggery and mix everything well
  10. Now switch on and let it set for few minutes
  11. Then add 1 tsp ghee
  12. And add elachi pwd and mix well
  13. Close with lid for 5 to 10 minutes till all comes close
  14. Then add dryfruits mix well and opn lid and mix for 2 to 3 minutes
  15. Witch off flame and reday to serve

And we are adding coconut milk also which makes the dish more delectable. Godhuma Rava Payasam is a Dalia/Broken Wheat Payasam that is a Tamilian speciality prepared during festivals and celebrations. This particular payasam uses Broken Wheat and is a healthy alternative to the usual Rice Kheer. Instead of sugar, it also uses jaggery which is pumped with iron. Durum Wheat is the hardest wheat in the world that has higher protein and gluten content.
