The ingredients needed to make Rava Sheera:
  1. Take 1 cup rava or sooji
  2. Get 1/2 cup milk
  3. Make ready 1/2 cup sugar
  4. Make ready Few drops almond essence
  5. Prepare few drops kesar essence or kesar
  6. Take 8-9 tablespoons ghee
  7. Take as required Dry fruits
  8. Take 1/2 teaspoon elaichi and jaifal powder

Steps to make Rava Sheera:
  1. The first step is to add around 6-7 tablespoons ghee to a pan and let it heat. Now roast sooji on medium flame until it turns pink in color. You have to stir sooji continuously to avoid sticking.
  2. Now, heat the milk a little in another vessel and add hot milk in sheera and immediately add sugar. Stay little away while adding milk and sugar as the milk drops might burn your hand. After adding milk and sugar, stir the sheera to avoid it to stick at the bottom.
  3. Stir sheera for about 5-6 minutes and off the gas. Now add, jayfal elaichi powder in sheera serve it with dry fruits
