Happy Diwali too everyone out there celebrating Diwali!! Today I am sharing a simple and quick semolina/rava/sooji milk sweet which is very easy. Boil milk in a pan and simmer till use in one stove. Heat ghee in another heavy bottomed pan or non stick pan and add the rava / semolina.

The ingredients needed to make Milk semolina/Rava/sooji sweets:
  1. Make ready 300 gms Milk
  2. Prepare 200 gms Semolina
  3. Get 2 tablespoons Ghee
  4. Make ready As required Water
  5. Get 500 gms Sugar
  6. Take 2-3 pieces Cardamoms

I have already posted simple versions such as rava laddu and rava coconut laddu and this is another variation with condensed milk or milkmaid. Rava burfi is made with semolina, flour, ghee, coconut, sugar and milk. Traditionally Indian burfi was made using different ingredients and each home had their own way of making it. For this sooji milk halwa recipe i used semolina (rawa/sooji), milk, sugar,cardamom,almonds and cashew.it usually eats with puri in breakfast.

Steps to make Milk semolina/Rava/sooji sweets:
  1. Take milk in a pan and bring it to a boil. Add ghee and sugar and mix well.
  2. Adding semolina slowly and keep mixing and Cook till it is completely thick and dry.Take it in a bowl and cool down.
  3. Once the semolina is cooled,take small portion and Roll into smooth small boll as per your choice.
  4. Make syrup and water in a pan, boil it and cook till sticky stage Add cardamom and mix well.
  5. Now drop the balls in the boiling syrup and cook for 5 mints.and serve it tasty.
