The ingredients needed to make Rava Halwa Recipe:
  1. Take 1 cup rava
  2. Prepare 3 cups water
  3. Prepare 1 1/2 cup+2 tbsp sugar
  4. Take 1/4 cup ghee
  5. Take 2 Tbsp roasted Cashews

Steps to make Rava Halwa Recipe:
  1. Soak rava in water for about 3 hrs. Then mix it well with hand and strain it in a cloth to collect the milk. Add more water snd take second milk. You should get a total of 3 cups of milk from rava.
  2. Add sugar with half cup water and boil till the syrup is sticky. Then add the rava milk to the pan and keep mixing.
  3. In a separate pan, caramelize 2 tbsp sugar with little water… Once it's caramelized, add this to the halwa mixture and mix it well.
  4. Once it gets little thickened, add ghee little by little and mix it.
  5. Once it gets a thick consistency, add the roasted cashews and cook till the halwa doesn't stick to the pan. Turn off the stove and serve the halwa.
