Instructions to make Rava/Semolina Idra/Appe:
  1. In a large bowl add Rava/Semolina, add water, a pinch of salt, and cumin seeds. Let it soak/rest on the counter for 1 hour or more.
  2. Add blenched Palak/Spinach and mix well.
  3. For tempering add oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Toast till they crackle and pour over the batter. Mix well.
  4. Put a non-stick pan on medium heat, sprinkle oil so that the batter doesn't stick, add 4 tbsp of batter and make small Idra/Appe. Cook until bottom layer turns golden brown.
  5. Flip the Idra/Appe and cook for 2 mins on the other side.
