The ingredients needed to make Rava/suji Dhokla:
  1. Get 2 cup rava/suji
  2. Make ready 1 cup curd
  3. Prepare 1 cup water
  4. Make ready 1 tsp crushed ginger green chillies
  5. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  6. Take 1/2 sugar
  7. Make ready to taste Salt
  8. Prepare 1 tsp eno fruit salt
  9. Get For tempting
  10. Get 2 tsp oil
  11. Take 1/2 TSP mustard seeds
  12. Take 3 dry red chilli
  13. Prepare 1 stem curry leaves

Semolina is called suji or rava in India. Rava dhokla recipe or Instant dhokla recipe or suji dhokla - This is the QUICKEST version of white dhokla. No soaking, grinding or fermentation required. Hence it is very quick and easy to make.

Steps to make Rava/suji Dhokla:
  1. Take a bowl add rava,curd,water ginger and green chilli and turmeric powder and mix well.
  2. Keep it for 15 minutes forr rava puff up.
  3. Keep water to boil in a vessel,put a jali stand inside it.Turn on flame, cover it up so that the water boil quickly.
  4. After 15 mins add salt,sugar and eno fruit salt.pour 1tsp water over it.Mix it well
  5. Take a container for making dhokla,grease with oil.Put batter in it,tap and make it even.
  6. As water boils put the container in water and cover it for 25 minutes.
  7. When dhokla is ready take out the container,keep on stand to cool.
  8. Once cooled,take out with help of knife then keep on plate.
  9. For tempting heat a tadka pan put oil then add black mustard seeds,dry red chilli, curry leaves.
  10. Put tadka over the dhokla
  11. Soft and spongy dhokla is ready.Serve dhokla with any green chutney.
