The ingredients needed to make Vegetable Semolina Sandwich/ Rava Sandwich:
  1. Take for Sandwich–
  2. Get 250 grams Semolina, toasted
  3. Make ready 300 ml Water (to soak semolina)
  4. Get 1 pinch salt
  5. Take 1 Green Bell Pepper, large in size
  6. Take 2 Onions, medium size
  7. Get 1 Carrot, large in size
  8. Make ready 1 Beetroot, small and grated
  9. Get 3 Green Chilli, medium size, minced
  10. Take 1/2 inch Ginger
  11. Take 1 packet Eno (regular)
  12. Get for Green Chutney–
  13. Get 4 Green Chillies
  14. Make ready 1/2 inch Ginger
  15. Get 15-18 Garlic Cloves
  16. Get 1 pinch Salt
  17. Get 4 tbsp Raw Peanuts
  18. Get 1 Lemon, medium size
  19. Prepare 18-20 Fresh Mint Leaves
  20. Get 1 bunch Fresh Coriander, medium size

Add some water to it and blend well to make the batter. The batter needs to be thick, but soft. The suji toast recipe calls for simple ingredients like onion, tomatoes and rava (sooji or semolina or cream of wheat). Along with these ingredients, cream is also added.

Steps to make Vegetable Semolina Sandwich/ Rava Sandwich:
  1. For green chutney add peanuts to a mixer jar and churn until sand consistency. Add chillies, ginger and garlic, churn until smooth paste is formed.
  2. Add lemon, mint leaves, coriander, 1 tbsp water(as required) and churn everything to a fine paste.
  3. Your mint coriander chutney is ready to serve.
  4. In a large bowl add Semolina and water, mix well and let it rest for an hour.
  5. In a mixing bowl add chopped onions, carrots, green bell pepper, grated beetroot and ginger chilli paste. Mix well.
  6. In a bowl combine chopped veggies, ginger chilli paste mix and soaked semolina (make sure there's no extra water added, if you see water on top remove the excess). Add a pinch of salt and 1 packet of regular Eno, give it a good mix. Make sure the batter is thick.
  7. Pour the in your sandwich toaster.
  8. Toast on both the sides for about 8-10 minutes/ until outer texture turns golden brown and is crisp.
  9. Cut into half and serve it with your choice of chutney and ketchup. Enjoy;
