The ingredients needed to make Rava Dhokla:
  1. Prepare 1 Cup ava
  2. Make ready 250 gm curd
  3. Take as per required Water
  4. Prepare 1 sachet eno fruit salt
  5. Get 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  6. Prepare As needed Some curry leaves
  7. Make ready 2 Green chillies slit
  8. Take as required Red chilli and coriander for garnishing
  9. Prepare to taste Salt

Quick video, step wise pictures post. I thought rava dhokla to be same as rava idli and did not want to try it out. Today thought of giving it a try (adapted from here) as it is easy and was wanting to post something in blog. It turned out delicious than I expected.

Steps to make Rava Dhokla:
  1. Mix rava and curd together… Keep aside for 10 mins
  2. Add water in mixture and make idli batter like consistency
  3. Add salt to taste and eno.. Mix it properly.. Keep aside again fo 10 mins
  4. Mix batter again with ladle and steam it like dhoklas
  5. Remove frm gas.. Let it be little cool and than cut it in diamond shaped pieces.. spread red chilli powder
  6. Heat little oil in pan.. Add mustard seeds, curry patta, green chillies.. Fry it properly
  7. Spread this tadka on dhoklas… Garnish it with coriander leaves…serve it with green chutney
