The ingredients needed to make Veg rava Idli:
  1. Take 2 bowl Rava
  2. Prepare 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp Urad dal
  4. Make ready 1/2 tsp Chana(gram) dal
  5. Get to taste Salt
  6. Get 5-6 Curry leaves
  7. Take 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  8. Make ready 1/2 bowl Curd
  9. Prepare as needed Water
  10. Make ready 1 packet Fruit salt
  11. Take 2 tsp Oil
  12. Take 1/2 bowl Chopped carrots
  13. Get 2 Green chillies chopped
  14. Prepare 1/2 bowl Onion

Instructions to make Veg rava Idli:
  1. In pan add oil, allow it to hot then add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, curry leaves and wait it until it get crackle.
  2. Then add turmeric powder, Carrots, onion, green chilli and rava, dry roast the rava together with masala until it get nice aroma.
  3. Then take it out in plate and cool it at room temperature, then add curd mix all together, then add water to make thick batter.
  4. Rest this mixture for 15 mins, after the resting time add salt in batter and adjust the consistency of the batter by adding water, the batter should having the consistency like idli batter.
  5. Then grease the idli plate with oil, add the fruit salt in batter and stir it in one direction then pour it in idli plate.
  6. Steam this idli for 15 min, after the steaming cool it down at room temperature.
  7. Veg rava Idli is ready to serve, enjoy it with coconut chutney.
