  1. Make ready 1 cup rava
  2. Make ready 2 cups milk
  3. Make ready 1 cup paneer (cottage cheese) homemade
  4. Get 4 tbsp ghee
  5. Get 3/4 cup sugar
  6. Make ready 1 tsp Elaichi(cardamom) powder

Steps to make Rava Paneer Burfi:
  1. Firstly heat ghee in a non-stick pan and roast rava till it changes it colour a bit and leaves aroma.
  2. Roast it on low flame and keep stirring continuously to avoid sticking at the base. It will take about 8-10!mins.
  3. On the other hand keep milk for boiling once boiled add sugar and elaichi powder stir it well and boil till sugar dissolves.
  4. Off the flame and add this milk to the roasted rava littlt by little in 3-4 shifts and keep stirring and mixing.
  5. Cook till all the milk evaporates now add the crumbled paneer (cottage cheese) keep stirring continuously and cook till it starts leaving sides and forms a soft dough.
  6. Take a greased square shaped dish and transfer the mixture in it and spread evenly with your greased palm.
  7. Garnish it with chopped almonds and few threads of saffron.
  8. Let it cool at room temperature then cut into square or daimond shape as per your choice.
  9. Remains fresh for 3 days - You can store in an airtight jar and keep in fridge.
