Rava Sheera Recipe - an Indian dessert made of rava or sooji (semolina), ghee, sugar, cardamom and nuts. It's indescribably sweet, super-easy to make and very moist and delicious!

The ingredients needed to make Rava sheera:
  1. Take 1 cup rava (sooji)
  2. Get 3 tbsp ghee
  3. Prepare 3 tbsp chopped almonds and cashews
  4. Get 1 ripe banana chopped
  5. Take 1 tbsp cardamom powder
  6. Get 3 cups water

It is a special sweet dish made for many occasions in India and is a delicious pudding to serve after any meal. Sheera or Sooji halwa is a great indian sweet made during vratham days or any special occasion. It is a rich, clean sweet made with semolina. Everyone in the family loves it.

Steps to make Rava sheera:
  1. Take a pan add ghee heat it. Add sooji and roast it continuously till little get light brown. Roast it 8-10 minutes.
  2. Keep water for boiling on other stove.Now pour little water on sooji and keep mixing
  3. Do not add all water together. Once it gets mixed add sugar and mash banana and Cardamom powder and mix it in low flame.
  4. Keep stirring as sugar melts and ghee releases from sides. Add cashew nuts and mix them.
  5. Serve hot in a plate…!! Enjoy satya narayan sheera..
