The ingredients needed to make Tofu Chives Bean Sprouts Stir Fry:
  1. Take 1 chinese fresh tofu, diced
  2. Take 250 ml oil for frying the tofu
  3. Make ready 2 Tbsp vegetables oil
  4. Get 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  5. Make ready 5 cloves shallots, thinly sliced
  6. Get 200 gr bean sprouts
  7. Get 50 gr chives, cut 4 cm
  8. Get 3 red chili peppers, take out the seeds, diagonally sliced
  9. Take 3-5 bird eye chilies, (optional)
  10. Get 1 tsp salt or to taste
  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp white pepper powder or to taste
  12. Get 1/2 tsp mushroom bouillon
  13. Take 50 ml water

Add remaining tablespoon of soy sauce, mix, and add in the chives. Add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, black bean sauce, sesame oil and rice vinegar, and stir until mix well. Stir-fry until the chives are just cooked. Note: After this, I stopped taking stove photos as doing so usually result in overcooked chives.

Steps to make Tofu Chives Bean Sprouts Stir Fry:
  1. Fry tofu until half cooked. Remove from the heat. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil over medium high heat. Sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.
  3. Add red chili pepper and bird eye chili peppers (if you use some). Mix well.
  4. Add the tofu and chives. Season with salt, white pepper powder, and mushroom bouillon. Add water. Stir well.
  5. Lastly, add the bean sprouts. Stir again for a while (Don’t stir too long if not the bean spouts won’t be crunchy). Remove from the heat.
  6. Serve immediately over steamed white rice! Yum! 😋
