To get started with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have simple tofu soup using 6 ingredients and 2 steps. Here is how you cook that.
The purpose of pressing the tofu is to dry the outside (and draw out a little moisture) to prevent it from sticking in the pot. Cube it, add some soy sauce, and mix gently until the soy sauce is fully absorbed. Sundubu jjigae is a Korean stew made with soft (uncurdled) tofu as a highlight ingredient. There are a few different ways to make sundubu jjigae using different ingredients (e.g. kimchi, minced pork and seafood) but by far my favorite version is the seafood version known as Haemul Sundubu Jjigae (해물 순두부 찌개).

Silken tofu has a soft and custard-y texture, making it easy to blend into smoothies and shakes for thickness and added protein. Add water or stock and turn the heat to high. Bring the mixture to a boil.
