  2. Make ready 1/2 cup flour
  3. Prepare 1 egg
  4. Prepare grated daikon (raddish)
  5. Prepare 1 cup bread crumbs
  6. Make ready katsuobushi (bonito flakes)
  7. Make ready nori
  8. Get tsuyu

It is deep fried tofu with a crispy crust formed by a potato starch coating. Heat up a pan with cooking oil, coat tofu with corn flour then toss into the pan. It is delicate and simple but so tasty. The sweet soy sauce-based dashi goes so well with deep fried tofu.

Instructions to make Pan fried crispy Japanese agedashi tofu:
  1. Cut 1/2 tofu into 4 blocks then wipe the tofu with paper towel
  2. Coat the tofu blocks, start with flour, egg then bread crumbs
  3. Pan fried the tofu per side for 2 minutes, there's no skill at all😂
