The ingredients needed to make Chicken adobo with fried tofu:
  1. Get 6 cloves garlic
  2. Get 1 medium size onion
  3. Get 1 half tsp. pepper powder
  4. Make ready half cup soy sauce
  5. Take 1/4 cup vinegar
  6. Get 2 tbsps. white or brown sugar
  7. Get 1 cup water
  8. Make ready 15 medium size diced tokwa (tofu)
  9. Take 500 grams chicken breast cut into medium pieces
  10. Get cooking oil (for frying and sauteeing)

Stir fry until brown and cooked. Add soy sauce, vinegar, chicken seasoning, sugar and pepper powder. Return fried tofu to the wok and stir. Add soy sauce-water sauce mixture to the wok.

Steps to make Chicken adobo with fried tofu:
  1. Fry diced tofu until brown.
  2. Saute garlic until brown then add onions.
  3. Add chicken pieces. Stir fry until brown and cooked.
  4. Add soy sauce, vinegar, chicken seasoning, sugar and pepper powder. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add water and fried tofu. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Return fried tofu to the wok and stir. Add soy sauce-water sauce mixture to the wok. Drizzle with sesame oil and stir. Transfer in a serving dish and serve with steam rice. Once the tofu is fully submerged in the broth, set the container aside to marinate while you set up the breading station.
