The ingredients needed to make Tofu Manchuria:
  1. Take 1 packet firm tofu
  2. Take 1 cup chopped peppers(optional)
  3. Take 1 cup chopped onions, long sliced
  4. Prepare 1 cup chopped celery
  5. Get 4 cloves garlic chopped
  6. Prepare 3 tbsp spring onions chopped
  7. Get 3 green chilles chopped
  8. Get 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  9. Take 2 tbsp corn flour
  10. Make ready 1 tbsp pepper
  11. Prepare 2 tbsp soy sauce
  12. Prepare 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  13. Take 2 tbsp tomato paste or ketchup
  14. Take salt
  15. Make ready olive oil

A perfect gravy to serve as a main but comes with a caution, it's moreish! Tofu Manchurian is the easy and simple recipe which can be prepared for snacks and surprise to our family with tasty recipe. Steps to make Tofu Manchuria:
  1. Cut tofu into small cubes and coat with red chilli powder, salt, cornflour and marinate for 30 mins
  2. Shallow fry tofu pieces on pan with oil till coated brown. Remove from pan and place on absorbent paper
  3. In the same pan, add lil oil and fry onion for 5 mins. Add peppers, celery, green chilles, garlic, green onions and fry for few mins
  4. Add ketchup or tomato paste and fry for a min
  5. Add tofu to the pan and add vinegar, soya sauce, salt and mix well and cook for 3 to 5 mins.
  6. Let it thicken up a bit
  7. Serve hot
  8. If you need gravy… add a cup of water with 1 tbsp of corn flour in it and add to the pan and simmer till thickens
