The ingredients needed to make Stir Fried Tofu:
  1. Get 300 g tofu (roughly mashed)
  2. Make ready 10 cm Japanese leek (cut into small pieces)
  3. Prepare 1/3 mushroom (tear into pieces)
  4. Take 2 eggs (beaten)
  5. Prepare 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  6. Get 1 pinch crushed red pepper
  7. Prepare 1/2 to 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  8. Take 1 Tbsp white sesame seeds
  9. Get Salt and pepper
  10. Make ready Nori seaweed for topping (optional)

Stir in onions and cook for one minute. Stir in tofu, and cook until golden brown Stir-fry for a couple of minutes, until the peppers begin to soften, and add the garlic and ginger. Return the tofu to the skillet, then add the sauce. Cook everything for just a minute or two longer, until the sauce thickens up and coats the tofu and veggies.

Instructions to make Stir Fried Tofu:
  1. Put crushed red pepper and sesame oil in a pan and turn on the low heat. Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Add mashed tofu, Japanese leek, mushroom, turn the heat to medium, and cook until the liquid is almost gone. Put in the soy sauce and stir well.
  3. Pour in the beaten egg and shake the pan while stirring for 10~15 seconds, turn off the heat, add sesame seeds, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Top with seaweed before serving.

Return the tofu to the skillet, then add the sauce. Cook everything for just a minute or two longer, until the sauce thickens up and coats the tofu and veggies. Scallions and sesame seeds go in at the end. Dish up your tofu stir-fry with some rice and dig in. Stir together water, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sherry and soya sauce, set aside.
