  2. Get 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  3. Make ready 1 tsp salt
  4. Take 1/2 tsp Aluminum free baking powder
  5. Prepare 1/3 cup fine sugar
  6. Make ready 1 cup Almond slices
  7. Prepare ~~ Wet Ingredients ~~
  8. Prepare 2 Tbsp + 1 Tbsp Maple syrup
  9. Get 2 Tbsp veg. oil
  10. Make ready 1/2 cup Unsweetened original almond milk
  11. Make ready 1 tsp lemon juice
  12. Take 2 eggs
  13. Make ready 1 tsp almond concentrate

Quick breads are my absolute favorite kind to make because they are so simple and yet so intrinsically satisfying. In a large bowl, cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine dry ingredients; blend into creamed mixture alternately with the buttermilk.

Instructions to make Almond Quick Bread:
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Combine egg, 1 Tbsp maple syrup, veg. oil, lemon juice, and fine sugar in a large bowl till blended well. Then stir almond milk in.
  3. Mix baking powder, salt, and flour together then slowly stir into step 2 till everything combined well. The batter is thick and without any dry flour.
  4. Pour batter into an 8 in* 4 in* 2 in loaf pan (put a cookie sheet on the bottom and brush oil on the pan). Mix almond slices with 1 Tbsp maple syrup then lay on the batter.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or till a toothpick out of the cake center without wet batter. Cool bread in the pan for 10-15 minutes then transfer it to the wire rack. Wait till the bread completely cool down. Slice and serve.
