The ingredients needed to make Stuffed Pasta Shells:
  1. Make ready 1 pk Jumbo Pasta Shells
  2. Prepare 1 green bell pepper
  3. Get 1 pk sliced mushrooms
  4. Make ready 1 lb ground beef
  5. Take 1 lb shredded mozzarella cheese
  6. Make ready Butter (for sautéing)
  7. Take 1 packet California Garlic & Pepper all purpose seasoning (99c at Krogers)
  8. Make ready 1 jar Pasta Sauce (43 oz)
  9. Take 1 clove garlic
  10. Take onion (optional-i didn't add since I have picky eaters)

In an ovenproof dish, add a layer of tomato sauce first followed by the pasta shells that you will stuff with the filling mixture. Cover the stuffed pasta shells with more tomato sauce and garnish with slices of mozzarella, grated Parmigiano Reggiano and some pepper. In a large bowl, mix eggs, ricotta, half the mozzarella, half the Parmesan, parsley, salt and pepper until well combined. Two kinds of pasta are better than one.

Instructions to make Stuffed Pasta Shells:
  1. Preheat oven to 400°
  2. Cook pasta shells according to directions, set aside when finished.
  3. In a separate pan toss in butter, garlic, mushrooms, bell pepper (& onion). Sauté until tender.
  4. Add ground beef and half of seasoning packet. Cook until brown. Drain grease.
  5. In your baking dish (9 x 13) layer bottom with small amount of pasta sauce just enough to cover bottom. Then line pasta shells on top.
  6. In a large bowl mix together meat mixture, half of the shredded cheese, & half of the pasta sauce (you're going to pour the rest on top of everything).
  7. Here's the fun part!! Stuff those shells!
  8. On top pour the rest of seasoning, pasta sauce, and cheese(I still had some meat mixture left over I just threw on top as well). Toss in oven for 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
  9. Eat up!
