  1. Wash and pat dry the fish
  2. Apply turmeric and chilli powder. Shallow fry the fish fillet. Keep aside
  3. In a pan heat mustard oil. Add mustard and coconut paste. Saute for sometime. Add turmeric, salt and chilli powder.
  4. Add the fish in it. Cook for few min. Covered.
  5. Add water if needed. Cook till desired consistency
  6. Serve hot with plain rice
