The ingredients needed to make Marinated Bonito Rice Bowl:
  1. Take 380 grams Sashimi-grade or seared bonito sashimi
  2. Prepare 1 tbsp ○ Ginger
  3. Prepare 2 1/2 tbsp ○ Mirin
  4. Make ready 2 tsp ○ Sake
  5. Prepare 2 1/2 tbsp ○ Soy sauce
  6. Make ready 1 Nori seaweed
  7. Prepare 1 Myoga ginger (if you like it)
  8. Take 1 generous amount Thin green onions or scallions
  9. Get 4 generous helpings Sushi rice

Instructions to make Marinated Bonito Rice Bowl:
  1. Slice the bonito and marinate in the ○ ingredients (grated ginger, mirin, sake, soy sauce) for 20 minutes. Massage with your hands several times while it marinates. (You can put everything in a plastic bag for this step if you prefer.)
  2. Put the sushi rice into bowls, cover the top with shredded nori seaweed, and top with the marinated bonito. Add some sliced myoga to taste and top with plenty of chopped green onion to finish.
