  1. Take Empanada
  2. Get 4 cup Instant Corn flour Masa(add more if you want to make more)
  3. Prepare 1 water as needed
  4. Make ready 1 frying oil(about 2 cups if its a medium pan)
  5. Prepare Stuffing
  6. Prepare 1 Ground Beef(I used 1 package..you can use as much as you want)
  7. Prepare 1 can tomatoe sauce(I used the small size can)
  8. Get 1 Ground California Chili(add to taste - I used about 2-3 tbsps)
  9. Get 1 dash chicken flavor bouillon(add to taste)
  10. Take 1 water( you can add less or more it all depends on how juicy you want it)
  11. Make ready 1 Monterey Jack Cheese thin slices(OPTIONAL)
  12. Prepare Nopales
  13. Make ready 1 packages diced Nopales
  14. Prepare 1 diced onion
  15. Get 1 diced tomatoes(I used 1 large)
  16. Take 1 bunch diced cilantro(optional)
  17. Make ready 1 cup squeezed limon(you can add more or less your choice)

Steps to make Empanadas de Carne Molida (Ground Beef):
  1. Beef: Cook Beef well. ADD tomatoe sauce,dash of bouillon,about 2-3 tbsp of Ground California Chili, and some water. STIR. Bring it to a boil then Turn off stove.
  2. Mix Masa with water. Make sure the dough its not to sticky.
  3. Do golf sized balls. Pat them until they are flat like tortillas.
  4. Start stuffing them with the beef. Fold them in half and start sealing the edges.I like to add Monterey Jack Cheese thin slice (optional)
  5. Heat up some frying oil and once its hot. Begin frying your Empanada…ONCE IT TURNS GOLDEN BROWN –> remove from pan.
  6. Nopales: Boil until tender then drain water…Mix diced nopales,tomatoes,onion, and cilantro. Squeeze a good amount of limon on it. Stir and Enjoy!
  7. You can also make Rice as a side dish as well. ENJOY!!
