The ingredients needed to make Khajoor Mawa Roti:
  1. Get 1 bowl Soft Dough (wheat flour / maida can be used, I have made using wheat flour)
  2. Make ready 1 Tbsp Desi Ghee (For kneading dough & frying)
  3. Prepare 4 Khajoor (Soaked in water for 30 min.)
  4. Get 1 Tbsp Unsweetened Khowa
  5. Make ready 1 tsp Cashew Powder
  6. Get 1 tsp Almond Powder
  7. Make ready Pinch Cardamom Powder
  8. Make ready 1 tsp Sugar (Optional)

Instructions to make Khajoor Mawa Roti:
  1. Remove the seeds of khajoor, grind in mixer. Add cashew powder, almond powder, khowa, cardamom powder and grind again to a smooth thick paste. Add powdered sugar only if you feel so.
  2. Take a portion of dough, roll it 2"diam disc. Fill it with khajoor stuffing. Close the edges and roll again to make 7" diam disc.
  3. Dry roast this disc properly from both the sides on tawa. Pour desi ghee and shallow fry till it becomes golden and crisp. Serve hot. Enjoy!
