  3. Make ready 8 oz cream cheese softened
  4. Make ready 1 tsp minced garlic
  5. Get 1 seeds for heat
  6. Prepare 1 grated cheddar/jack cheese (may substitute)
  7. Prepare 1 salt and pepper to taste

Steps to make Firehouse Stuffed Jalapeños:
  1. Preheat oven 400°F
  2. Split peppers lengthwise and de-seed
  3. Brown sausage, drain and put in bowl
  4. Combine cheese, garlic, seeds for heat, salt and pepper to taste and hand mix with sausage
  5. Spoon mixture into pepper halves
  6. Place a small sprinkle of grated cheddar/jack on top of each pepper
  7. Place peppers onto lined cookie sheet
    • Remember to wash hands after handling seeds
  8. Place in oven for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is browned
