Steps to make Strawberry Daifuku: Just Microwave the Shiratamako!:
  1. Hull the strawberries. Divide the bean paste into 20 g portions. Flatten on your hand to make a pancake. Wrap the strawberry in the bean paste.

  3. Cover with plastic wrap. Microwave for about 2 minutes at 500 W. Take out from the microwave and stir. Add red food colouring dissolved in a little water (not listed). Add colouring until dough becomes the pink colour you like.
  4. Flatten on your hand to make the dough into a round circle. Wrap the bean paste with the dough. If it's sticky, coat katakuriko on your hands.
