  2. Make ready some salt
  3. Make ready some pepper
  4. Take 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  5. Get 1 egg
  6. Take 1 cup panko (AKA bread crumbs)
  7. Get oil for deep frying

Steps to make Tonkatsu (Japanese Deep-Fried Pork Cutlet):
  1. Prepare the chops beat the chops flat. Season chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Prepare 3 dishes, spread flour on the 1st dish. Beat egg in the 2nd dish. Spread Panko breadcrumbs in the 3rd dish.
  3. Coat each pork chops with flour -> eggs -> breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere
  4. Wait till oil reach 170C/335F, fried the coated pork chops for 3-5 mins.
  5. Drain pork chops for a bit.
  6. Cut the pork chops before serving.
  7. Serve with steamed rice and your favorite vegetables. Or do what I love the most, with Japanese curry!
