The ingredients needed to make Family Chicken Casserole:
  1. Make ready 500 grams(3 large) Chicken Breast
  2. Get 1 Kilo New Potatoes
  3. Make ready 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
  4. Prepare 300 Grams Baby Carrots
  5. Prepare 300 Grams Broccoli
  6. Prepare 2 large Onions
  7. Take 200 Grams Peas(I used Mange Tout)
  8. Take 1/2 Cup Red Lentils
  9. Make ready 3 Chicken Stock Cubes
  10. Make ready 750 Mls Hot Water

Instructions to make Family Chicken Casserole:
  1. Cut Carrots into small bite- size pieces.
  2. Do the same to the Broccoli. (TIP:- slice down part- way into stalk, then twist into smaller pieces!)
  3. Chop the Mange Tout Peas.
  4. Wash, then cut Potatoes into small bits.
  5. Slice, then cube the Chicken
  6. Cut Onions in half, remove skins, then slice and dice. (TIP:- cut almost up to the roots, then cut across to make small pieces!)
  7. Add everything you cut up to a large covered casserole dish, plus the Lentils and tinned chopped Tomatoes, (I used a slow- cooker) and give a good stir.
  8. Boil some water, add the stock cubes to a jug, and mix until smooth and Stock Cubes are dissolved. Pour over the mix and stir again.
  9. Cook for 2 hours in a medium to hot oven, or a slow- cooker for 4 hours. Stir about every 30 minutes to ensure even cooking. Enjoy!
