  3. Take 3 cup soaked parboiled rice

  6. Take 4 tbsp tuwar dal soaked
  7. Make ready 3/4 turmeric powder
  8. Make ready 2 medium chopped tomatoes
  9. Get 1/2 tsp hing
  10. Get 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  11. Prepare 2 1/2 tbsp tamarind pulp
  12. Get To taste Salt
  13. Make ready 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Steps to make Winter special breakfast:
  1. FOR IDLI, first soak urad dal & rice overnight for idli mix. Then grind dal to a nice fine paste. Next grind the rice paste
  2. Now mix dal & rice together and keep aside for few hours for fermentation. After few hours take the batter and salt mix well. Now take a idli steamer and keep water inside for boiling. Take idli stand apply little oil the mould. Put big spoon full of batter on each and every mould.place the idli stand in the steamer. Cover the lid allow it to steam for about 15 to 20 minutes and idli is ready.
  3. FOR RASAM pressure cook the tuvar dal in water with turmeric powder, chopped tomatoes and salt per taste.
  4. Mash the cooked dal & strain the water.Heat the strained dal water add rasam powder, tamarind pulp, black pepper powder keep for boilig.
  5. Take another karaoke put oil add mustard seeds, hing curry leaves and chopped onions fry little translucent and pour all the tadka mixture over boil Dallas, turn off flame put chopped coriander and mix gently. And piping hot rasam is ready with idli.
