The ingredients needed to make Tuna beans and onions salad:
  1. Get 1 can tuna flakes in brine
  2. Get 1 can your favourite beans (I use cans of mixed)
  3. Take Half red onion
  4. Make ready 1 teaspoon capers
  5. Make ready Malt vinegar
  6. Take You can add black/green olives and/or sweetcorn
  7. Take Mayo or just some good quality ev olive oil

In a medium bowl or salad bowl, combine the tuna, beans, onions, sage, and parsley. Preparation Place beans in large bowl. The beans are green beans and cannellini beans, also known as white kidney beans. Serve cold or at room temperature.

Instructions to make Tuna beans and onions salad:
  1. Chop the red onion as small as you like, salt it and soak it in vinegar, leave to rest covered in the fridge for 20 minutes or so
  2. Drain the vinegar from the chopped onion and drain the tuna and the beans from the brine. Chop the capers and mix everything.
  3. Add the olives and or sweetcorn if you like, mayo if you feel naughty or just dress with olive oil and some vinegar.
  4. Enjoy!
