The ingredients needed to make Jowar (Sorghum) Soup:
  1. Prepare 1 small onion, chopped
  2. Prepare 1 tsp. ginger-garlic, chopped
  3. Take 1 green chilli
  4. Make ready 2-3 tbsp. jowar / sorghum flour
  5. Make ready 500 ml. water
  6. Take 1 tbsp. butter
  7. Prepare pinch turmeric powder
  8. Make ready to taste salt
  9. Make ready 1/2 tsp. roasted coriander powder
  10. Make ready pinch chilli flakes & mint leaf to garnish (opt)

Steps to make Jowar (Sorghum) Soup:
  1. Heat butter in a pan. Saute the onion, ginger, garlic and green chilli till the onion turns translucent.
  2. Add the jowar flour, turmeric powder and coriander powder. Stir fry for 1-2 minutes. Add water and salt.
  3. Mix everything well and simmer by continuously stirring till the soup turns thick to a desired consistency.
  4. Switch off the flame and serve in individual bowls, garnished with chilli flakes and mint leaf.
