The ingredients needed to make Methi dhebra (bajri che vade):
  1. Get 2 cups bajri flour
  2. Make ready 1/2 cup fenugreek leaves washed& chopped
  3. Take 1 tsp Seasme seeds (til)
  4. Prepare as per taste Salt
  5. Prepare 2 tsp Ginger garlic green chilli paste
  6. Prepare 1/2 cup Yoghurt or buttermilk
  7. Get As required Water for kneading
  8. Get 2-3 tbsp Oil
  9. Get As required Oil for frying
  10. Take 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  11. Get 1-2 tsp jaggery chopped

You can use either fresh methi leaves (fenugreek) or dried methi or kasuri methi, to prepare this dish. I have used fresh methi in this recipe. Steps to make Methi dhebra (bajri che vade):
  1. First take kneading plate. Add bajri flour into it. Now add fenugreek leaves, salt, oil, ginger garlic chilli paste red chilli powder and buttermilk. Mix all well.
  2. Now add jaggery and take water little bit for kneading dough. Make a soft dough.
  3. Now make balls from this dough. Take 2 or 3 on rolling pad, put plastic carrybag on it and pat little with your hands.
  4. Apply seasme seeds (til) on it. Fry this vadas till it becomes golden brown colour.
  5. Serves hot or cold with tea or chutney or sauce. 😊
